Description
This Luang Phor Thuad statue is depicted in a seated meditation posture, representing mindfulness, discipline, and contemplative practice. The composition reflects the traditional visual characteristics commonly associated with Luang Phor Thuad representations in Southern Thailand.
Distinctive features include the monk’s aged facial features, expressive sculptural detailing, and traditional monastic robe. The bronze surface displays developed patina with natural tonal variation throughout the figure. Areas of applied gold leaf remain visible across the robe and lap, reflecting devotional use and contributing to the statue’s distinctive visual character.
