Description
This Thai bronze Buddha is presented in a crowned form, seated in the Earth-Touching (Bhūmisparśa Mudra) posture, symbolising resolve and the moment of awakening. The regal headdress and ornamental detailing distinguish this representation from the monastic-robed form.
The figure features an elaborately decorated crown, armlets, and chest adornments, carefully modelled with fine relief work. The robe and jewellery are rendered with structured lines that frame the torso, while the serene facial expression maintains a composed and balanced presence.
The bronze surface shows matured patina with tonal variation across the body and base. Areas of applied gold leaf are visible on selected sections, reflecting devotional practice over time. The underside reveals traditional casting structure with embedded elements within the base.
Standing at 39 cm in height and weighing 7.8 kg, the statue offers substantial presence suitable for altar or contemplative display.
Dimensions: 27 × 16 × 39 cm (L × W × H)
