This Lanna style Buddha is depicted in the Earth-Touching posture (Bhumisparsha Mudra), representing the moment of enlightenment when the Buddha called the earth to witness his awakening beneath the Bodhi tree. The gesture symbolizes spiritual resolve, the overcoming of obstacles, and the attainment of wisdom.
