Description
This seated Buddha is depicted in the Earth-Touching posture (Bhūmisparśa Mudra), symbolising the moment of awakening and steadfast resolve. The right hand reaches downward toward the earth while the left rests calmly in meditation.
The figure presents a compact and grounded form, with a triangular facial structure and pronounced brow line. The tightly clustered hair curls rise to a defined flame finial, creating a strong vertical silhouette. The robe is rendered in simple flowing lines across the torso.
The surface displays a dark bronze tone with areas of oxidation and mineral accretion, giving the piece a textured and time-worn character. The narrow cylindrical base supports the figure in a unified cast structure.
Standing at 19 cm in height and weighing approximately 1.4 kg, the piece offers a stable and substantial presence despite its smaller scale.
Dimensions: 9 × 4 × 19 cm (L × W × H)
