This Sukhothai-style Buddha is depicted in the Earth-Touching (Bhūmisparśa Mudra) posture, symbolising steadfastness and the moment of enlightenment. The graceful proportions and composed expression reflect the classical aesthetic associated with central Thai sculptural traditions.
Characteristic features include the elongated flame-like ushnisha finial, gently arched brows, downcast meditative eyes, and refined facial modelling. The smooth robe treatment and subtle body contouring demonstrate the restrained elegance typical of Sukhothai-inspired forms.
The bronze surface presents a matured, warm brown patina with natural tonal variation, contributing to a calm and dignified presence. The underside reveals traditional casting structure and internal support elements.
Standing at 43 cm in height, the statue offers a commanding yet harmonious display suitable for altar or contemplative placement.
